My latest pistol has a magazine disconnect, is it permissible in IDPA competition?

Yes you can shoot it. You will just need to have an empty magazine availabe to use to drop the hammer on an empty chamber at the end of the cof. BTW, if you were to disable the mag safety on the gun, it would not be legal for IDPA competition as I understand the rules.
Rules? Rules, we don't need no stinkin rules.

Thanks, I have four magazines with a fifth on the way. One of them is one of those Kalifornia 10 round magazines, I can use that for the hammerdrop. I am looking forward to the next match, hope the weather holds out. I missed the last two.
